An American journalist named Emily Oster, writing in The Atlantic magazine suggests that ‘we’ didn’t know about the dangers and ineffectiveness of social distancing, masks, vaccines, lockdowns, school closures, beach closures, and more in 2020. She says that now we know and we can adjust accordingly, and we must forgive ‘the hard calls that people had no choice but to make with imperfect knowledge’. She suggests that we should focus on health, and on improving children’s academic scores now.

This does not go down well with those who spoke out against the restrictions and those who suffered because of the restrictions. They are incensed because the information was there and being ignored. They were called conspiracy theorists and worse. They were castigated, excluded, insulted, sacked, humiliated, and ignored. They are not ready for an amnesty.

After weeks of quietness about Covid from the Government, an advert appears for ‘contact tracers’ who can work over Christmas. They want full time and part time workers. What does this mean? Have adverts been appearing regularly and just not been noticed? There is a lot of effort being put into trying to stop people from finding out anything wrong with the jabs or anything wrong with a Covid response that includes lockdowns, masks and social distancing. Michael Baker is appearing in the news again with concerns about Covid ‘cases’ increasing and how we should be responding now. There are still people wearing masks in public places when there is no ‘recommendation’ or ‘rule’ to wear a mask.

There is an official Government press conference today for the first time since September. We hear that Government will click back into MIQ mode if they think it’s needed. They are encouraging booster jabs, especially for Pacifica people.

I notice that Ardern is finishing off all her wonderful international jollies. She is becoming more unpopular at home, is she thinking that she needs to scare people again to increase her popularity? People are relaxing as we move into summer. They are looking forward to the warm weather, the holidays, the travel. Guards are down and people are beginning to forget how awful it has been. And then suddenly we get a press conference and a fresh focus on Covid numbers.

A guy who is employed each year as ‘Santa’ for Christmas events receives an email from Icon Events management on Sunday telling him that his booking for 20 December is cancelled and that all Corporate global Christmas events are cancelled for 20 Dec this year.

While many people are starting to relax and think that we are getting more and more back to life as it was in 2019, there is much going on in the corridors of power. There are a few world-leader jollies, in such places as Bali and Egypt, where the participants are treated to an extreme of luxury accommodation, arriving by private jet and enjoying extravagance and opulence most people can’t even envisage, never mind experience.

One of these events is the Cop 27 event where they talk about the importance of reducing carbon emissions. Developed European and English-speaking countries are being told they must make payments to developing countries. This will mean more taxes and at the same time, less being spent on local infrastructure and facilities. I read that countries are competing with each other to have the Cop event at their place next year. It’s a prestigious and desirable event – for the rich and famous who turn up there, rather than for the millions who are forced to pay for it to happen.

Another event is G20 in Bali where the twenty participating world leaders sign a declaration to introduce vaccine passports for their countries, with the stated intention of creating a ‘global verification system’ to ‘facilitate safe international travel’. They say this will be done under the framework of the International Health Regulations to ‘facilitate seamless international travel, interoperability, and recognizing digital solutions and non-digital solutions, including proof of vaccinations.’ Interestingly, this huge piece, which will impact the lives of millions of people all over the world, is not being reported in legacy media.

As governments in other countries are being forced to hold inquiries, Ardern pre-empts any pressure or organising of an inquiry by any opposed to her methods and ideology. She announces a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the NZ Government’s response to the Covid 19 pandemic. ‘It will look at lessons learned and aims to help New Zealand better prepare for future pandemics.’ The inquiry will be chaired by an Australian epidemiologist Professor Tony Blakely, a good mate of Ardern’s, and one who totally believes lockdowns are a great way to go. There are also two MPs; both Labour MPs, none from any other political party. They are Hekia Parata and John Whitehead. They will start their inquiry in 2023 and produce their findings in 2024, so that will be well after the 2023 election. I wonder how unbiased and searching it will be.

This week is a week remembering the pain of the introduction of vax passes one year ago. Lots of painful memories.

At the garden circle Christmas lunch there is a bit of discussion about Covid – those who got Covid, and those who are afraid of getting it now in case it spoils their upcoming overseas trip. There is casual chat about the increase of numbers of ‘cases’ and how we don’t want another lockdown. These compliant women say that they doubt people will comply if Ardern tries another lockdown.

One person who has been terrified of catching Covid and is totally in lockstep with Ardern says she caught it at a social event I was at, that everyone on her table got it, and that she was in bed for ten days with it. I point out that the vaxes appear to not work, and she disagrees with me. I tell her no-one from our shared social event died, and she is thankful to the vax for that.

Videos and web pages are still being removed regularly from YouTube, Facebook and other online places if anyone posts a video or information questioning the official Government story on vaccinations and Covid.

It is completely impossible to phone any radio station in New Zealand and discuss the vaccine; every presenter at every single station in NZ talks over and cuts off any caller who questions the official narrative. People want to tell their own story, their own experience, but if it goes against the ‘narrative’ it is not allowed.

Just a Recommendation

Matt Hancock, a British politician who is the Health Secretary during the pandemic, making recommendations about lockdowns and social distancing, breaking the rules he himself set, now says that they were not rules, they were ‘recommendations’. This is interesting, bearing in mind that those who didn’t follow the ‘recommendations’ are fined.

In USA, the FDA, spend a year calling Ivermectin a horse worming treatment, mocking those who say that it is suitable treatment for Covid patients, and destroying the careers of countless medical professional. Now they say that telling people not to take ivermectin for COVID-19 was ‘just a recommendation’.

Sean Plunkett, broadcaster, starts a new radio station. He calls it The Platform. Its motto is ‘Open, Tolerant and Free’. He slates the mainstream broadcasting stations for censoring opinions and facts. His station is online only. You can download an app to have it available to listen to easily, and to see the podcasts etc.

A problem is emerging though; Sean himself is not open or tolerant. And he doesn’t allow free discussion either. So if you phone to voice any concerns about the vaccine he shouts you down and cuts you off. Many people send texts instead, and Sean shouts at them and tells them to pick up the phone. He says, ‘A lot of people want to be vaccine injured, so they make up in their own mind that they are.’

An American millionaire called Steve Kirsch phones in. He wants to discuss the scientific aspect of Covid vaccines. Sean shouts at him and calls him a conspiracy theorist. Steven says that’s not true that he is a scientist looking at scientific data and that he would like to talk about the data. Steve invites Sean to go to USA. He offers to pay for the trip and introduce him to medical people who are seeing vax damage in people and show him some provable facts. Sean shouts rudely that he doesn’t want a free plane ticket and he doesn’t want to go to USA.

Sean says he is fed up of hearing about data and he wonders why medical people would ever say the vax is safe and effective if it isn’t. I will quote – Dr Ryan Cole an anatomic and clinical pathologist in reply to that question: ‘All doctors agree when you censor the ones that don’t’. You strip funding from scientists who say the ‘wrong’ thing, you bring dissenting or questioning medical professionals before the boards and threaten to remove their certificates if they stray from the narrative. No wonder it appears that there is a consensus of opinion on controversial subjects.

Sean Plunkett issues a challenge to Steve Kirsch to prove his points. He calls it the one million dollar challenge. Steve says, ‘Game on!’

The former U.K. Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, is writing a book on the UK Government’s Covid response and management. He is painting himself in a jolly good light, showing how well he handled things. However, he has a ghost writer called Isabel Oakeshott. She gets access to official records and Hancock’s notes exchanged with ‘all the key players in Britain’s Covid-19 story’. And now she has a different story to tell. She writes an article drawing on material that is being used for Hancock’s book, the article is published in The Spectator.

She tells us that Hancock genuinely considered those who disagreed with him on how to handle the situation as ‘mad and dangerous’ and more importantly, as persons that ‘needed to be shut down.’

His response to online scepticism comes before the pandemic restrictions themselves. Hancock says that in January 2020, his special adviser was talking to Twitter about the ways to “tweak” the platform’s algorithms. Later, Hancock personally gets in touch with former British PM and politician Nick Clegg—now president for global affairs at Meta (formerly Facebook). Clegg, who was at the time Facebook’s VP of global affairs and communications, is ‘happy to oblige.’

Hancock’s department together with the Cabinet Office (PM and Government), harnesses ‘The full power of the state to crush individuals and groups whose views were seen as a threat to public acceptance of official messages and policy.’ The Cabinet Office enlists the help of a unit that previously worked on stifling the influence of ISIS to now deal with ‘anti-vaxxers’, and the policy of zero tolerance does not spare doctors, scientists, and academics, such as those behind the Great Barrington Declaration.

This censorship is completely hidden from the British public, and we can assume that, bearing in mind what is happening in other countries at the same time as these events, similar machinations were taking place in secret. In other words, those who question the official narrative are to be shut down quickly. There must be no questioning or disagreement allowed.

Not only this, but Hancock works hard throughout 2020 and beyond to ban anti-lockdown protests, enforce vaxxes for all, insist on mask wearing, and shut down anyone who disagrees with him.

A UK MP, Andrew Bridgen stands up in the House of Commons and states that he believes that the Covid vaccines are causing significant damage to many people who are taking them. He says that the risks of damage from the vaccine outweigh any good they might be doing. He calls for a halt to the vax distribution. The UK media attacks Andrew Bridgen’s character and past behaviour while not considering anything he says about the vaccine.

In the UK again, a GP, Dr David Cartland calls for the immediate suspension of the Covid injections. There are a growing number of medical professionals in the UK calling for an end to the vax roll-out because they are seeing a lack of safety and efficacy. However, anyone are brave enough to speak out has their work and qualifications called into question by the media.

Again in the UK, Angus Dalgleish who is a Professor of Oncology at St George’s, University of London, writes to the editor of the BMJ (British Medical Journal) saying that Covid no longer needs a vaccine programme given the average age of death of Covid in the U.K. is 82 and from all other causes is 81 and falling. He talks about ‘the well-known link’

with clots, myocarditis, heart attacks and strokes. He talks about his observations as an oncologist, and he asks for a debate on the subject. This is not reported in the media. Scottish historian and television presenter, Neil Oliver says that the silence is deafening on what he calls the ‘Biggest Story in the World’. He says ‘They (politicians, media, regulatory agencies) may keep their hands over their eyes, but we can see them, and the silence is deafening.’

And still the only thing we see in the media in New Zealand is that the Covid numbers are rising and we need to keep being afraid. In response to this, I see an increase of people in shops and public places wearing masks.

In the UK the Government announces that they are stopping recording and reporting on Covid numbers in January 2023.

In Germany, a virologist called Christian Dorsten who is strongly in favour of vaccines and Covid restrictions, now says that the Covid pandemic is over and that Covid has become an endemic disease.

In China, the Government lifts Covid restrictions and ends their ‘elimination’ policy. Why is this? Is it because of the numerous protests from the Chinese people? This is the kindest and most straightforward reason.

In New Zealand, media are still publishing Covid-related articles, reminding people of the numbers of cases and deaths, including the information that a child was one of the deaths, and information about the foolishness of ‘Vaccine Hesitancy’. There is mention of the history of a close connection between ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘vaccine hesitancy’. This article also makes reference to Donald Trump who is considered to be trusted only by very foolish or low-IQ people, and ‘religion’ which again is relevant only to the those who don’t know better.

The Chinese Government’s decision to stop Covid restrictions and allow international travel for Chinese people causes some concerns; in Italy a plane load of travellers from China is tested for Covid and half of them test positive. Italy says the rest of the EU should follow its lead and test all Chinese arrivals. The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control says they think it would be ‘unjustified’ and that the surge is ‘not expected to impact’ the EU. Meanwhile, USA, Japan, Taiwan and India announce mandatory testing for visitors from China. And here in NZ, media are expressing concern because the NZ Government isn’t asking for testing for arrivals from China, but the Government is firm that they are not going to ask for testing of Chinese travellers.
