Canada Fights Back

The Canadian truckers who bring food from USA through the border into Canada have been mandated. And they resist the mandate. They want the freedom to choose for themselves whether or not to take the jab. There is some news that the mandate is reversed, and some suggestion that it hasn’t been reversed.

The truckers plan a protest convoy to drive across Canada from Vancouver to Ottawa, from 23 January to 29 January.

There are 50,000 trucks, and hundreds of thousands of protesters. Some say many more than that number, some MSM say fewer. There are American trucks driving up to join them and if not allowed through they plan to stop at the border. There is a fund raiser set up to get funds to pay for food and lodging for the truckers. They have a goal of five million Canadian dollars. They get way over that amount. This is a serious and important moment in Canada’s grassroots fight against the evil and lies of big government and big pharma.

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister, calls the truckers a ‘small fringe minority… holding unacceptable views that they are expressing’. (How dare they express their views? How dare they hold views that are contrary to Justin Trudeau?) He says ‘they do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values as a country.’ I watch the press conference where these exact words come out of his mouth.

As the truckers drive across Canada in convoy people come out to wave, cheer, hold encouraging signs, set off fireworks and show full support. Right across the country. A small minority? Unacceptable views? This convoy has got into the Guinness Book of Records for the biggest convoy in history. They are expecting maybe a million people to converge on Ottawa in protest. All this in mid-winter with snow, ice and fog, evident in all the video footage. And these hardworking, tax-paying truckers are called ‘domestic terrorists’ by their Government.

Saturday 29 January 2022

More heart-warming stories about the convoy in Canada. People supporting them, children sending them messages, even the American truckers being allowed to cross the border to join the convoy.

A trucker sends a message to supporters:

A letter from a trucker in the Freedom Convoy who wants to share his story:

Hello everyone. We made it to Thunder Bay today. I have a hard time finding words to express the momentum on this convoy. The convoy is 100kms long and growing all the time. The support people have is overwhelming. Coming into Winnipeg yesterday was pretty emotional, the com radios went pretty quiet because no one could find words to express what we felt. There were people packed on the shoulders of the streets. Cars parked and people for miles and miles on the ring road around the city. The horns never stopped honking! On the four lane going out of Winnipeg, we thought it was hammer down time but ended up driving 5 to 20 km/hr for hrs and hrs. People had camp fires going in the ditches, fireworks, a sprayer with booms out with big Thank you! Signs on the booms. Crane trucks with the booms up with signs, lights flashing, and flags. The shoulders of the four lane packed with people and cars. Overpasses packed with people. Tons of families little kids all bundled up. Everyone was jumping, dancing, waving signs, flags, and flash lights. All in -30 [degrees Fahrenheit]. Seeing how happy kids are, their smiles makes you a little emotional at times. This is how Canada is supposed to be. This morning going into Ontario, the support is amazing. The laneways, cross roads, little towns same things happening. Constantly speeding up and slowing for groups of people. I feel like I am cheating with adaptive cruise 😉. When we came to Thunder Bay they had a big area plowed off. [Cleared of snow] Tents put up, big fires and an insane amount of food. Beef on the bun, spaghetti, sandwiches, coffee, donuts and you name it. They brought pallets of windshield washer fluid for everyone. Very humbling how kind everyone is. This is what freedom feels like. I felt normal for once not alone like the last two years. Thanks for all the support it is much appreciated!! Well I am hitting the hay. Cheers. Thanks.

I look at what is happening in the UK with people reporting crimes and serving notices at vax centres, at Germany where there are regularly one thousand protests all over the country, at the truckers in Canada, and the growing number of countries around the world where there are protest marches, and I wonder if we are getting close to a crisis or a tipping point. None of the resistance is being reported in MSM, which is a pity. But we know about each other, and we are encouraged by each other. We’re ready for the tide to turn.

The price of the vaccine is a tightly controlled secret, and the Government accidentally releases some documents with the price of the vaccine. It is $36.50 per dose of vaccine from Pfizer. Chris Hipkins, Covid Minister, says ‘Obviously it was information that was not supposed to be released, so of course I regret that it has been released and certainly would regret any implication that that might have for the relationship with Pfizer.’ I wonder why it’s a secret. I wonder why Pfizer will be unhappy with the Government for letting the info out. What’s going on?

Thursday 3 February 2022

Some lies are spread about the truckers as they wait in Ottawa, demanding an end to all mandates across the whole of Canada. Their behaviour, depicted by some as being violent or threatening, is exemplary. And the Canadians who rally around them are remarkable. It makes me wish I were Canadian. It surprises and thrills so many people worldwide. Their courage inspires many convoys to be organised in many countries.

Just addressing two incidents that imply the truckers are the bad guys:

The story of dancing on the tomb of the unknown soldier is a half story; after the ‘dancing’ is stopped people bring flowers for the tomb. Truckers and supporters alike are full of honour towards the monument. It reminds me of a peaceful protest here in NZ which is infiltrated by who-knows-who. The infiltrator tries to rile people to violence and he runs and starts pulling down a barrier. The protesters around him pull him away and right the barrier. In Germany I see footage of violent protesters who are riling people up and then they run back to the police line and are taken safely through. They are infiltrators. It is true.

The MSM lie when they say the truckers are stealing food from the homeless. In reality, the homeless are being fed by the truckers. The homeless are getting better food from the truckers than they would from the homeless shelters and they are very happy about it.

I see videos of Canadians taking care of each other, cheering each other on, churches opening up their doors, truckers praying together, police and truckers speaking politely to each other in negotiations.

In comparison, in Australia, fresh videos emerge of police in riot gear attacking peaceful protesters, pepper spraying people as they walk past, punching people and hurting them. And in Western Australia unjabbed lawyers are not allowed into court to fight the mandates, and unjabbed parents are not allowed into hospitals to be with their sick children.

Around the world, the UK is reversing all vax pass mandates and all vax mandates for medical staff. Other countries are winding back their restrictions and mandates, stopping pushing the vax frequent doses – Norway, Sweden, Finland, Japan, Catalonia, Brazil, South Africa, Switzerland, some US states, Czech Republic, Italy. I am excited about this. It’s wonderful. But now these leaders need to be held accountable. If they are not held accountable then we will see this same thing happen again. Maybe next year with a new virus, I don’t know when but I know it will not go away if the perpetrators are left in place.

As other countries around the world ease restrictions, here in NZ, we are still locked off from the rest of the world, NZ is the only country in the world that doesn’t let its own citizens into the country. Vax mandates are increasing across the board, those without a vax pass are excluded from society, a third dose is being pushed for only three months after dose two, and you will lose your job if you are mandated and don’t want a third dose.

Vaccine Safety

Saturday 5 February 2022

A group of international lawyers and a judge launch a criminal investigation by the People’s Court of Public Opinion. It is modelled after U.S. Grand Jury proceedings of those in power accused of exploiting the pandemic. The allegation is that many governments of the world have come under the controlling influence of corrupt and criminal power structures.

The investigation serves as a model legal proceeding to present to a jury (consisting of the citizens of the world) all available evidence of COVID-19 Crimes Against Humanity to date against ‘leaders, organizers, instigators and accomplices’ who aided, abetted or actively participated in the formulation and execution of a common plan for a coronavirus pandemic.

I hope they are successful, but I suspect it might come to naught. The vaccine is clearly unsafe and is causing more death and injury than the virus, but the facts are being hidden by MSM.

Let’s look at some facts. Starting with Israel.

Israel is different from us in NZ in one way – they are way ahead on the timeline of all things happening. But we have some things in common with Israel – population size, only using Pfizer jab, mandates, jabbing children, vax pass, third jab after only three months. And now Israel is giving a fourth jab, three months after the third jab.

However, when Israel starts giving the fourth shot, a month ago, the daily infection rate in Israel starts to rocket, giving them one of the highest infection rates in the world.

When I look at data, it does seem all over the world, that the countries with high vax rates also have high infection rates. And in those countries, as in NZ, treatments like affordable, safe Ivermectin is not allowed, and the MSM even call it horse wormer to indicate that anyone who believes Ivermectin might be efficacious is a fool.

There is much info about the dangers of the vax and the ineffectiveness of lockdowns and masks, but it isn’t in MSM, it’s in the medical journals and on alternative SM. For example, Dr Sucharit Bhakdi says ‘I predict, that because of this vaccination campaign, there will be an upsurge of tuberculosis worldwide’.

Those who know are trying to stop the vax from being administered and trying to warn the uninformed about the dangers. They are treated as nutcases, even called nutcases, and being called conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers. It’s hurtful.

A woman in the UK asks the Office of National Statistics (ONS) to release the data so that parents can make an informed decision about having their child vaccinated. The ONS refuses to give her the info. So she takes legal action to force it to reveal the numbers, she gets help to raise £100,000 to pay legal costs. The judge, Mr Justice Jonathan Swift, denies the application. He says that parents do not have the ability to properly interpret the data.

Here in NZ a group of parents present evidence to stop the rollout of vaccines to 5 – 12 year olds. They have a very strong case. The judge denies them, she says it will cause too much disruption and go against what Bloomfield says. No matter that lives and health of children will be affected. Avoiding disruption and protecting Bloomfield matter more.

Meanwhile, the stories of vaccine injuries to adults and children continue to accumulate, and articles and adverts normalising heart conditions and stroke in young healthy people continue. Articles on how Paracetamol can give you heart attack, so can shovelling snow, shaking the duvet, hearing a referee’s whistle on the football pitch…

We are also hearing talk of coming world food shortages. China has started hoarding grain, and Russia is preventing the export of fertiliser.

Friday 4 February 2022

I am looking at a few statistics and reports.

  • In mid-January 2022, the American Centre for Disease Control (CDC) says that just 6% of the people counted as Covid deaths died of Covid alone. They say that 39% of those listed as Covid deaths have ten or more comorbidities, while 25% have six or more comorbidities.
  • In USA the armed forces have a DMED system which records every single adverse reaction to the vaccine. This is different from VAERS which is a voluntary system open to abuse from malicious people and also not recording every adverse reaction. The DMED system records all cancer diagnoses in the military, over a five-year average (2016 – 2020) there were 38,700 per year. In the first ten months of 2021 when the vaccine is being given, there were 114,645. This in a predominantly young population. And increase of just under 300%.
  • In USA Senator Ron Johnson writes a letter to the Defence Secretary about the dramatic increases in medical diagnoses in military personnel. He writes:
    Dear Secretary Austin:
On January 24, 2022, I held a roundtable featuring world renowned doctors and medical experts who shared their perspectives on COVID-19 vaccine efficacy and safety and the overall response to the pandemic. At that roundtable, I heard testimony from Thomas Renz, an attorney who is representing three Department of Defense (DoD) whistleblowers, who revealed disturbing information regarding dramatic increases in medical diagnoses among military personnel. The concern is that these increases may be related to the COVID-19 vaccines that our servicemen and women have been mandated to take.
Based on data from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED), Renz reported that these whistleblowers found a significant increase in registered diagnoses on DMED for miscarriages, cancer, and many other medical conditions in 2021 compared to a five-year average from 2016-2020. For example, at the roundtable Renz stated that registered diagnoses for neurological issues increased 10 times from a five-year average of 82,000 to 863,000 in 2021. There were also increases in registered diagnoses in 2021 for the following medical conditions:
    • Hypertension – 2,181% increase
    • Diseases of the nervous system – 1,048% increase
    • Malignant neoplasms of esophagus – 894% increase
    • Multiple sclerosis – 680% increase
    • Malignant neoplasms of digestive organs – 624% increase
    • Guillain-Barre syndrome – 551% increase
    • Breast cancer – 487% increase
    • Demyelinating – 487% increase
    • Malignant neoplasms of thyroid and other endocrine glands – 474% increase
    • Female infertility – 472% increase
    • Pulmonary embolism – 468% increase
    • Migraines – 452% increase
    • Ovarian dysfunction – 437% increase
    • Testicular cancer – 369% increase
    • Tachycardia – 302% increase
Renz also informed me that some DMED data showing registered diagnoses of myocarditis had been removed from the database. Following the allegation that DMED data had been doctored, I immediately wrote to you on January 24 requesting that you preserve all records referring, relating, or reported to DMED. I have yet to hear whether you have complied with this request.
At the roundtable, Renz revealed the names of the brave whistleblowers who uncovered this information in DMED: Drs. Samuel Sigoloff, Peter Chambers, and Theresa Long. Any retaliatory actions taken against these individuals will not be tolerated and will be investigated immediately. In order to better understand what, if any awareness DoD has about COVID-19 vaccine injuries to service members, I request you provide the following information:
    1. Is DoD aware of increases in registered diagnoses of miscarriages, cancer, or other medical conditions in DMED in 2021 compared to a five-year average from 2016-2020? If so, please explain what actions DoD has taken to investigate the root cause for the increases in these diagnoses.
    2. Have registered diagnoses of myocarditis in DMED been removed from the database from January 2021 to December 2021? If so, please explain why and when this information was removed and identify who removed it. Please provide this information as soon as possible but no later than February 15, 2022. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Ron Johnson Ranking Member Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations

This looks like a pretty serious matter to me. It looks like we have incontrovertible evidence of vaccine damage, it is being dealt with at a very high level, and I am praying that it won’t be hidden away.

  • The World Health Organisation (WHO) says ‘if mandatory vaccination is considered necessary to interrupt transmission chains and prevent harm to others, there should be sufficient evidence that the vaccine is efficacious in preventing serious infection and/or transmission’. For Omicron, they say ‘there is as yet no such evidence’ and ‘the little data we have suggests the opposite. One study finds that after 30 days the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines no longer have any statistically significant positive effect against Omicron infection, and after ninety days, their effect goes negative – ie vaccinated people were more susceptible to Omicron infection. ‘Confirming this negative efficacy finding, data from Denmark and the Canadian province of Ontario indicate that vaccinated people have higher rates of Omicron infection than unvaccinated people.’
  • The Office of National Statistics (ONS) in England readjusts their figures t show that just 6183 people died of Covid in England and Wales between 1 February 2020 and 31 December 2021, exposing the 150,000 death toll as a lie.
  • Hospitalisations in NSW Australia double in just one week. 96% of them are fully vaccinated.90% of those in ICU are fully vaccinated. 80% of Covid deaths are fully vaccinated.
  • During Mass, a policeman enters the church, and goes up and down the aisle checking that masks are being worn correctly and checking for exemption passes. I see the photo of this happening. It is deeply disturbing.

Convoy!

Monday 7 February 2022

New Zealand has a convoy. It is arranged and planned very quickly, inspired by the Canadian convoy. The South Island convoy starts in Bluff early Sunday morning, 6 Feb and is coming north to Picton and some will come across to Wellington, and the North Island convoy starts at Cape Reinga early Sunday morning 6 Feb and goes south to Wellington, splitting into two after Hamilton to take in east and west, and all arriving in Wellington on Tuesday morning.

People come out to wave and cheer them on, almost every bridge in Auckland has cheering, placard holding, waving crowds. Most cars toot in support. It’s exhilarating.

There is opposition in the form of some trolls who gain access to the convoy social media and CB radio apps and send people in the wrong direction. This slows things down considerably, so the convoy gets very spread out and runs two or three hours late. The trolls also say that there is a change in the overnight venue and that causes more confusion. But it doesn’t dampen the enthusiasm.

In Australia a convoy descends on Canberra. There is talk of peace, grace, truth, dignity and firm resolve.

An Ottawa councillor says the Canadian convoy is ‘a nationwide insurrection’, she says ‘they are terrorising our residents’ because they honk their horns all day. The Mayor of Ottawa, Jim Watson, declares a state of emergency. He says it is to ‘give the city greater flexibility to deal with ongoing protests that have overwhelmed local resources’.

A state of emergency will mean that they can use much stronger force to end the protest. They start by imposing tyrannical measures; police will be cutting off the fuel and heating supply to the convoy for freedom, anyone bringing petrol, diesel, gas, will be charged with ‘assisting an illegal activity’. The police are ticketing truck drivers for honking their horns.

I see videos of children playing on hay bales and bouncy castles. Truckers singing the national anthem before playing a game of hockey in the street, truckers cooking pizzas for anyone who wants them. I read a message from a guy with a business in Ottawa who says the truckers are friendly, the come in and help clean his shop, they clean the toilets and they wash the floors. The business owner says that if you had told him two weeks ago that the media lied he would not believe you but ‘now I have seen it with my own eyes’. This is what is being described as ‘terrorising’.

Meanwhile Justin Trudeau hasn’t been seen for eight days but we know he is watching the Olympics because he is tweeting on the Olympics but is silent on this biggest of all protests ever seen in Canada.

And now, under cover of darkness, Canadian riot police move into the protest camps in Ottawa and steal the fuel and propane. It’s mid-winter, with below freezing temperatures. The Government is planning to freeze out the protesters. A witness describes one event in detail – about fifty armed police move into the area and intimidate and surround a group of about twenty people, men women and children. The police block off the pavement and stop people from going to their vehicles, then let random people through. The police surround people carrying jerry cans and arrest them. Protesters try to reason with police, beg them to reconsider, they pray for the police, all to no avail. Other groups of protesters chant ‘shame’ to the armed police. A drone flies overhead and the police stealing the fuel can be clearly seen. I am thinking of a quote by John F Kennedy: Those who make peaceful protest impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.

I watch another protester in another area say that it is just an intimidation tactic; he speaks defiantly, and swears a lot. He says they are all still in good spirits and the riot police don’t take all the fuel. The protesters are now working out how they can get fuel legally.

Tuesday 8 February 2022

Convoys are happening in many countries now. We see photos and videos of protest convoys all with people cheering them along.

In Canada a High Court Judge bans honking horns in Ottawa for ten days. The response is everyone honks horns. One little guy is separate from the crowds. He honks his horn and gets arrested and manhandled by two tall, burly policemen.

The Ottawa police say anyone carrying fuel into the protesters will be arrested. The response is a call for everyone to carry empty jerry cans.

This is powerful, peaceful protest. And it is spreading to other parts of Canada and USA as well as around the world.

In NZ, the convoys are all converging on Wellington. The New Zealand Herald talks about ‘hundreds’ of protesters. There are over one thousand vehicles, all with multiple passengers. The Prime Minister says she is too busy to talk to the protest leaders. She says she has a busy day of meetings and 96% of New Zealanders ‘went out and got the vaccine’, implying that they hurried out willingly for the vax, and that any protesters are only the unvaxxed, ergo they are a tiny minority. A couple of points – I don’t trust the Government counting, many people were forced to get the jab, and many jabbed people are in the convoy because they don’t want any more jabs and they don’t agree with mandates.

The leader of the National Party, Christopher Luxon, also says he will not meet any protesters and he will not allow any National MPs to meet protesters. He says he agrees with mandates. These people are seriously out of touch with the people of New Zealand. The ordinary, everyday folk who chug along without getting het up about politics. They are out in force. They oppose the mandates and restrictions.

Ardern holds a press conference and says ‘I think it would be wrong to in any way characterize what we’ve seen outside as a representation of the majority. The majority of New Zealanders have done everything they can to keep one another safe.’ Yes, those are the very ones on the convoy! The ones who for two years sacrifice and believe Ardern’s lies. Even the ‘two jabs for the summer’ lie which is followed by many cancelled events and festivals, the country at traffic light red and vax passes everywhere.

As the convoys have travelled through NZ they have been met with crowds of people on the sides of the roads and on the overbridges – cheering, waving, clapping. So many people. Many of the convoy drivers talk about being moved to tears by the outpouring of support and encouragement everywhere they go. They are fed and watered along the way. They are saluted and encouraged. This is not a small minority of New Zealanders. I would guess it’s close to half of the country.

There is continued sabotage with some saying that a particular group has hi-jacked the event and is sending everyone home. Then some more say not it’s not that group it’s this group that is telling lies. Whatever the truth is, it causes trouble. Someone in the convoy and now on Parliament lawn says that the whole event is one of love and peace.

Things Get Tense

Thursday 10 February 2022

Floodlights are shone on Parliament lawn all night in an attempt to disrupt the sleep of the protesters camping there. But things take a turn for the worse this morning when police move in in force. The protesters are urged to stay peaceful. Our friends are there.  Our friend is arrested this morning, along with a grandma lady they have befriended.  His wife gets separated from them, can’t find them and is worried, then she finds out later the two have been arrested. Pretty worrying for these lovely peaceful NZ citizens being treated like criminals.

Trevor Mallard, Speaker of the House, a very powerful man, tells the media not to go to interview or talk to the protesters, but to stay on the balcony in Parliament where they can look down on proceedings. He instructs the police, and the police get nasty. They deliberately and brutally attack peaceful citizens in front of Parliament. They use pepper spray and make targeted, deliberate charges into the crowds, to control a crowd peacefully protesting, and singing the National Anthem.

I watch video and live feed of unprovoked attacks by police. I see the police form a tight cordon with linked arms, three people deep, and then push forwards effectively corralling the people like animals. Then they make a grab for one protester and knock them to the ground and drag them through the cordon. Face down they handcuff them and take them away to charge. One is a lady who gets pulled out leaving her children in the midst of the crowd. One is a lady dragged along the ground by her hair.

One lady is injured by a policewoman pressing her elbow into her chest and despite begging her to stop, pushes until the lady’s sternum is fractured and she has to be taken to hospital. I see a 17-year-old boy lying on his stomach on the ground and a policeman pressing down heavily on the boy’s head with the full force of his weight. I see a policeman attack a man without provocation and three other policemen rush to join in the attack. I see a young Maori guy standing in silence, very still, with his back to the police, and holding a flag. Behind him the police group together, the protesters around the flag holder shout to the police not to touch him. The police then charge, grab him, pull him through the police line, knock him down and we can see no more of what happens.

And not one single politician will come and talk to the peaceful protesters. However three ex-politicians call on MPs to stop hiding and come out to talk. Winston Peters says ‘If you occupy private land like Ihumatao you can stay as long as you want and the govt embraces you. If you occupy public land the govt will trespass you the same day and label you a minority. I guess it depends which minority the decide they want in their team of five million.’

I go to Pukekohe with others at 4.45 pm for a pop-up, holding signs with anyone who wants to be there, to show support for the Wellington protesters. We get plenty of waves, toots and honks, and just a few thumbs down.

Others are planning a second convoy to Wellington. They are setting off tomorrow morning from Bombay.

Friday 11 February 2022

The protesters are still on the Parliament lawn. There are barriers up where yesterday the police formed a ‘wall’. The MSM reports on the trouble yesterday afternoon. They tell us that 122 protesters are arrested and two policemen are injured. They don’t tell us how many protesters were injured by police. They don’t tell us how the two police who were injured; one is accidentally pepper sprayed by another policeman and the other got a graze after tackling a protester.

In touch with friends who are there on Parliament lawn, they talk about the atmosphere today being positive, full of peace, love, warm friendliness. Someone describes the atmosphere as being like a music festival and there is a lot of music.

Meanwhile, army trucks are seen driving through Wellington and riot gear is seen being carried into a building at Parliament. Rumours abound and for a while I am afraid for my friends.

Several neighbours are planning to go to Wellington this weekend. One says that she can take care packages with her for us, so we spend time getting those ready.

The numbers are swelling around Parliament; people are pouring into Wellington, hotels are filling, the roads are busy, and many more are talking of going there. The police are stopping motorists driving into Wellington if they have slogans or flags. So the cars turn around, remove the slogans and flags and come back in on a different route, they get through without a problem.

At the same time, VFF is organising pop-ups every day for a few days, focused on police stations around the country. I hear that some police are very concerned about the brutality of the few police yesterday. A friend chats with a policeman in Pukekohe. She thanks him ‘for being a good cop’ and says she is sorry the bad cops smeared the name of all police. The policeman agrees that it shouldn’t have happened and he says, ‘we will keep Pukekohe safe’.

Saturday 12 February 2022

The concerns of yesterday are unfounded. No riot police, no army, no bully boys. The mood picks up throughout Friday at the protest and it becomes a festival again with plenty of local musicians singing their own songs about how they feel about what is going on. Meanwhile, there are pop-ups again all around the country.

Trevor Mallard plans another nasty move. He orders the sprinklers on Parliament lawn to be turned on. The protesters are creative; they find ways to redirect the sprinklers from the tents and people, and they dig little channels to catch the water and carry it away. The ground is sodden and turning to mud. It starts raining very heavily. It’s cold and windy. A cyclone is blowing through Wellington. The mood in the camp is buoyant and defiant.

Away from the protest, many New Zealanders are horrified by Mallard’s peevish orders to the police on Thursday and then and the water sprinklers on Friday. People call him names and remember the several other vicious and spiteful things he has done in the past. Sympathy for the protest grows because of Mallard’s interference. I hear a rumour that at least ten police have resigned from the force after being there on Thursday and seeing the violence. A protester called Shaun says he is on the front line and although some police are violent, others are very unhappy about being there. He says he saw police with tears in their eyes.

I watch a video of the 17 year old who is roughly handled by police and had his head pressed very heavily. He is Alexander from Whakatane. He is shy, gentle, and he speaks peace and calm. He tells us he wants to stand up for his future children and their children. He is very frightened at the time and spends five hours in a police cell before being released.

The protesters lay out a list of demands for the Government. Politicians, police and media are pretending they don’t know what the protesters want, they say there are several groups all with different demands. The freedom protest intentions are:

  • stop all mandates and end the COVID-19 restrictions,
  • reverse related legislations and cease proposed legislations,
  • Bill of Rights Act 1688 to be upheld and added to constitution,
  • medical and professionals to follow the Principals in the NZMA Code of Ethics
  • and all media to have freedom without censorship.

They are getting more organised, they set up a First Aid tent and a Vaccine Injury tent. They make a press release.

Around the world, convoys are being planned in dozens of countries. Some countries are easing up on restrictions in response to the ire of the populations, and a few are tightening up. In France and Belgium the officials are trying to ban the convoys. In Canada, when helping the truckies by bringing in fuel in jerry cans is banned, the response is for dozens and dozens of people to walk the streets of Ottawa carrying jerry cans. Some have water, some are empty and some also have fuel in them.

We hear that there are crowds of people camped in Picton – the convoy that came up through the South Island and didn’t cross the Cook Strait. There are party events planned in various towns around New Zealand. I hear of a child in Southland a five year old, has died of vaccine poison. This makes me weep. It makes me more determined to stand in the ways I can stand, including keeping this record.

Alongside all the worldwide demonstrations there are legal battles happening and medical revelations being made.

Sunday 13 February 2022

Mallard’s act of violence for Saturday is to get eight larger speakers set up on the balcony at Parliament and then blast music out to deafen the protesters on the lawn. On Saturday night is the Macarena on repeat, interspersed with Covid 19 adverts. Punishing people with Covid adverts? That’s interesting. The response of the people there is to dance the macarena and then to play their own music loud in response. A call goes out for ear plugs.

On Sunday the music is Baby Shark. Again people dance to the music.

The call goes out for hay and a huge truck of hay arrives. This is spread out over the mud. People are cold, wet, and enthusiastic. They are coming through the cyclone with their mana and enthusiasm intact.

Here in Franklin people are organising a box truck full of supplies to set off to Wellington tonight. People are sending all sorts of things from carpet to hot water bottles. This is happening all over the country. Another truck is planned for Wednesday and another truck for Friday.

The organisers in Wellington are getting more organised by the hour. They have lists for needed food and supplies, they have rosters for kitchen work, first aid station, security and more.

Getting Organised and Effective

Monday 14 February 2022

Today the leaders of the protest group in Wellington put out a press release and a statement saying that they are in unison in wishing to meet with Government ministers. They send a copy of their statement to every MP, to every news outlet and to the police. No MSM outlet reports on it. No MP comments or comes to talk to any protesters.

Jacinda Ardern goes on breakfast television and says that the protesters are flying Canadian flags and Trump flags, that they are shouting abuse at people wearing masks, abusing school children, being noisy, and behaving badly, that they are anti-vaxxers. She says they are asking to stop things that are not happening, for example, mandates on children, which isn’t a thing. That’s a lie; so many children are suffering and unable to attend sports clubs, school camps, go to the library or swimming pool, movies, church and all the rest, because they are over the age of twelve and they are not jabbed. That is a mandate for children. Yes, children have mandates.

There are other similar lies. The groups are united in basic requests, they are not flying Trump flags or Canadian flags, they are peaceful, kind and supportive of each other.

Ardern refuses to meet with them. Refuses to talk to them. And refuses to condemn Trevor Mallard’s shameful behaviour.

A MSM outlet reports from a bar which is affected by the protest presence. The bar owner acknowledges that the protest is affecting business, but he says that being at Traffic Light Red is more damaging, and not knowing when it is going to end is hard.

Ardern announces a change to ‘Phase Two’ of Traffic Light Red. She says they had always planned to move to ‘Phase Two’ when ‘case’ numbers were about 1000 a day. Today we had 981 ‘cases’. Phase Two looks the same as Phase One except that there is a shorter time of isolation if you have been with a ‘case’.

So now we have Levels, Traffic Lights, and Phases. People are confused.

There are nationwide pop-ups this afternoon in support of the protest (Freedom Camp). The protest organisers have begged people to stop sending donations. They have been inundated with everything from gum boots, rain ponchos, gazebos, warm woollies, right through to toilet paper and children’s toys.

Overseas we see videos and photos of Switzerland, France and Canada having bully-boy tactics thrust on the protesters. We see over a million protesters gathered in Canberra.

Tuesday 2022

No news today in response to the official press release from Camp Freedom in Wellington. A little ‘Freedom Camp’ sets up in Christchurch. There is also a large camp in Picton, which suffered badly from the cyclone, but is hanging in there.

In Canada, PM Trudeau takes the unprecedented step of invoking the Emergencies Act to crack down on pro-choice, anti-mandate protests. The Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland says banks will be able to freeze personal accounts of anyone linked with the Freedom Convoy protests without any need for a court order, broadening the country’s “Terrorist Financing” rules to cover crowdfunding platforms and cryptocurrencies.

She says, ‘If your truck is being used in these illegal blockades, your corporate accounts will be frozen, the insurance on your vehicle will be suspended.’ This woman is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Board of Trustees.

The Premiers of Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, and Saskatchewan immediately say that they are opposed to these terrible divisive decisions. One of them, Premier François Legault, says it is not time to ‘throw oil on the fire.’

Conspiracy theorists are saying that the World Economic Forum (WEF) has a plan to take over the world, make cash obsolete, control all banks, and through the banks, all people. If you do something not approved you will have your bank account frozen or even emptied. It seems so extreme and totally conspiratorial, until you see Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland (what an inappropriate surname!) who are both deep in the WEF, behaving so thuggishly against peaceful protesters. It is a concern.

An FDA executive officer is filmed secretly talking about future Covid policy. He says, ‘You’ll have to get an annual shot … Biden wants to inoculate as many people as possible.’ He talks about how much money the pharmaceutical company will make with annual shots for the entire population.

I hear people talk about inflation, shortages, and restrictions on cash. We have a very small store cupboard of food. We are ensuring that we have all the physical things we need to get, rather than having cash in the bank. I have started using cash only in all my transactions, except online. I no longer use loyalty cards anywhere. I encourage others to use cash as often as possible.

Wednesday 16 February 2022

I watch a line of protesters in Canada as police move to evict them and move them on. It’s 10.30 pm, the police are in a line across the road, walking towards the protesters. One protester is reading to the people, a passage from the Bible about being peaceful and giving love back to those who give hate. Then they start to sing the Canadian National Anthem. The police walk towards the protesters and then start pushing them and keeping walking forward. They start to tackle some of the protesters and bring them down, they push the gazebos and try to pull them down and dismantle them roughly. People are shouting. It’s hard to watch.

In response to Trudeau’s martial law, there are protests outside the Canadian embassy in New York. Some Canadian police chiefs resign in protest. Another Canadian province says it will be abandoning vax passes. MPs in the Canadian Parliament start to abandon Trudeau and he gets shouted down in debate.

Here in NZ, we have unprecedented levels of contempt by all MPs and most MSM towards the hundreds of New Zealanders in Camp Freedom and the hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders they represent around New Zealand.

All MPs totally ignore the protesters, or reference them disparagingly for eight days, but a bar owner in Wellington manages to broker a meeting with some of the Camp Freedom leaders and David Seymour, leader of the ACT party. This is an achievement, and it gives hope.

The police chief, Andrew Coster, says that cars blocking the streets will be towed and confiscated if they are not moved by the owners. He won’t say when it will happen or how many tow trucks he has lined up. But he says it will happen today. Some people say that the tow truck companies won’t help the police. A tow truckie goes on ZB radio and tells Heather du Plessis Allen that he sympathises with the protest. At the end of the day the only car towed is a police car with a flat tyre. Twelve cars are moved voluntarily, and many more vehicles come in. There are now over 450 parked cars blocking the roads around Parliament.

David Seymour says he won’t meet until Freedom Camp starts moving the vehicles blocking the roads around Parliament. The Freedom Camp leaders say the vehicles aren’t going anywhere. The MP Joseph Mooney (National) for Southland writes to the PM to voice his concerns. Finally an MP speaking up.

Cars driving through Wellington and past the Freedom Camp are tooting long and loud their support. Wellingtonians are offering their homes and a church for the protesters to come and have a shower and get freshened up. ‘Just bring a towel’.

Meanwhile, some MSM say that Wellingtonians are seriously inconvenienced and increasingly unhappy with what is happening with the blocked roads. MSM say the site is unsanitary and that there are concerns for the welfare of the children. Someone who is there says ‘The porta-loos were being cleaned regularly – in fact they smelled and looked better than most public toilets. There was no litter. There were recycling bags and bins for rubbish. The straw was swept off the paths. The tent sites were tidy. And people were able to leave stuff in tents without it being pinched. The protestors had organised a team of security to look after everyone – manning the gates and reminding people of the no drinking and no drugs requirement. Kids were running around with smiles on their faces. People (including me) were dancing. Strangers came up and talked to and hugged me. I sat in the Health Forum tent for a while and shared people’s experiences. The food was nourishing – roast lamb, potatoes and salad for dinner. Provided for free because of the generosity of many. This is how true community works.’

Thursday 17 February 2022

1500 positive test results today.

Camp Freedom is getting more organised every day. They say they are a people’s movement with no single leader, and yet they are unified and united.

Labour MP Michael Wood, stands up in Parliament and talks about the worldwide pandemic which is claiming ‘tens of thousands of lives most days of the week’. He talks about how wonderful the PM is and how proud he is with the Government response to the pandemic. He describes Camp Freedom in these words: ‘a river of filth, of violence and menace, antisemitism, islamophobia, genuine fascism … a dangerous and far right movement.’

Camp Freedom is becoming more organised every day, and loves and supports everyone who goes there. There is a security team keeping things smooth and friendly. There is now a hairdresser tent, a first aid tent, a massage area, a place to go to talk about and report vaccine injuries, a play tent, an art and craft tent, even a school. They are making gardens with donated heritage seeds. I heard that there are even street signs. All these things are being described as a ‘river of filth and violence’. Ardern suggests that it is an imported protest and financed with money from overseas.

Some very happy news is that a famous Kiwi sportsman, Russell Coutts, is going to Camp Freedom. He puts a message on Facebook. He says, ‘I’m heading to Wellington next week to join the protest. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to join a protest. I’m not anti-vaccine (I’m vaccinated) but I’m definitely against forced vaccinations. I’m also strongly opposed to the ever increasing erosion of our human rights and the growing limitations on our freedom of choice. I believe in having the freedom to be able to question so-called “expert” opinion. I’m against discrimination and the “them and us” society that is being promoted by our current political leaders. I’m against creating different rights, laws and privileges based on race. I’m also against the irrational Covid rules that are currently being mandated in New Zealand, a few examples being:

– The 10 day quarantine that still remains for international travel.

– The absurd rules where our kids (vaccinated and unvaccinated) can sit in the same classroom and play sport together inside the school yard, yet are prohibited from playing sport together outside the school yard.

– The absurd rules that prohibit two young unvaccinated brothers, living in the same household, from sailing together in a sailing competition because they would be within two metres of each other while sailing their boat.

– The rules that require one to put on a mask to walk to and from the bathroom inside a restaurant when masks have already been removed while eating and drinking.

– The contradictory rules that allow unvaccinated people to take a domestic flight (with a negative Covid test) but prohibit a young unvaccinated kid from competing in their sport (outside school).

– The fact that our kids are forced to wear masks at school (even when it’s well known that the surgical masks most of them are wearing are highly ineffective).

Finally and perhaps most important, I’m against the fact that some of our mainstream media have received payment from the New Zealand government conditional on them promoting government policy, propaganda and spin.

So yes, I’ll be joining the protest in Wellington.’

Is Russell Coutts going to join the ‘a dangerous, far right movement’? He is going because he sees the illogical rules and the loss of basic freedoms as wrong. He sees that the population of New Zealand is being told outright lies by Government and MSM. Every day, more people are waking up to the evil nonsense being perpetrated on NZ. They are resisting and coming together in unity.

Friday 18 February 2022

1929 positive test results today.

One News reports on a letter from 28 ‘leaders’ in the Wellington region, MPs, councillors, mayors and school principals. These ‘leaders’ say that ‘The people of Wellington have had enough of this illegal activity, harassment and disruption, we ask that it end immediately’. They talk of ‘significant levels of abuse and harassment’ and ‘intimidation’. This is at odds with people reporting no real traffic congestion, people walking freely around and through Camp Freedom without any harassment, and support from Wellingtonians in terms of supplies, offering hospitality, and tooting loudly in support.

Something interesting around Camp Freedom; there is no social distancing, no mask wearing, and no vax pass requirements. What about Covid? Everyone seems fit and healthy – but then there’s no testing either.

Overseas, In Canada a peaceful protest leader is arrested. He is calm and all around him, the supporters are calm. The Canadian Government is starting to freeze personal bank accounts. In other countries, including Austria, they are starting to pull back from Covid restrictions, easing up, not requiring face masks and (in some places) not requiring vax passes. In NZ, the strict rules stay in place, Ardern disappears from Wellington, people follow Government rules to self-isolate if in contact with a positive tested person, and chaos ensues and businesses and schools are forced to close for lack of staff.

Violence and Doubts

Saturday 19 February 2022

1901 positive test results today.

People are flocking to Wellington to Camp Freedom. There are thousands of visitors and over 800 illegally parked vehicles in the nearby streets. Camps are appearing in other places. The camp in Picton, one in Christchurch, and one in Dunedin.

The organisers of the Wellington Camp send apologies for rudeness to the media outlets and they are invited for a tour of the Camp. The reporter sees all the different lovely tents and reports on them, following shortly with the information that there is an anti-protest petition with more than 40,000 signatures.

In Australia, we hear that some of the 1.5 million people at the Canberra camp last weekend have suffered some strange symptoms. They describe feeling sick, having headaches and having burnt skin. One person wearing jeans has the front of their legs blistered like sunburn. Very strange. And then someone sees a van leaving the campsite with a giant LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device). This isn’t a giant speaker or acoustic device. It’s a microwave weapon, and people are being secretly irradiated, ‘cooked’ while they relax and listen to live music. These boxes can reach miles and can target individual people, and no-one suspects this. This isn’t a speaker system, it’s a microwave weapon. There are smaller ones are called ‘mimo pads’ which can be mounted anywhere at all, for instance – telegraph poles, delivery vans, or even on houses. The first time people are hearing about these.

In Canada, under the Emergency Powers Act, there is violence now on the streets of Ottawa. Friday 18th there is to be a Canadian Parliamentary debate on the EPA, but the Canadian Parliament suspended Friday’s debate, saving Trudeau from another day of uncomfortable speeches from MPs who fiercely oppose his use of the draconian Emergencies Act, and also giving a few more days of EPA without opposition.

I see protesters being completely peaceful and some forces (police? army? I don’t know because they didn’t appear to have any recognisable uniform or insignia – I will call them police for now) with helmets, tear gas masks, rubber bullet guns and assault rifles, pushing and grabbing the people. I see one person, possibly a woman, holding onto a signpost and being dragged by several police while others form a wall of protection against the protesters. Behind the wall of police there are several people attacking a body on the ground and then one police is clearly seen using the butt of his rifle to bash down hard, repeatedly. It is sickening to watch and the people are shouting and trying to reach the one attacked. One protester, probably related to the one attacked is screeching in panic and he is held back and calmed by a protest leader who is insisting on calm and no violence.

I see mounted police pushing against a crowd of peaceful protesters, the people are pushed aside, a couple of people can’t get out of the way because of the crowds, and they are trampled by the horses. Right behind the mounted police are police in riot gear pushing aggressively at the crowd. The crowd is panic stricken and frightened.

I see a man inside a truck surrounded by police knocking on his window and telling him to come out. After a few seconds of knocking without him getting ready to leave his truck, the police break the windows of his truck, drag him out and arrest him.

I turn to MSM and read that the heavily armed police are using a ‘tactic of gently pushing forward to gain ground.’ The peaceful protesters are called ‘demonstrators’. The police also tell all journalists to leave the area – so is this now a media blackout in a country where armed police are attacking their own unarmed population?

I see a short video of a woman being attacked by police, the woman grabs a nearby post to try and stay on her feet. She is knocked over and beaten. I send the video to a friend in Canada but my friend says it’s a guy resisting arrest. I am shocked that she sees something different. She can’t see it’s a woman. She doesn’t notice the beating continue behind some police who stand in front of the prostrate body while a police officer lands kicks. My friend thinks the Canadian police are doing a great job and the protesters are badly behaved and don’t have a just cause. I want to weep. Weeping for my friend of over thirty years who is happy that peaceful freedom fighters, fighting for her freedom as well as their own, are being beaten up and arrested. Weeping for the violence I am seeing towards innocent people. And then questioning – is she right? Am I wrong? Have I been sucked into nonsense? What is really going on? I don’t know today. I thought I knew. I thought I was on the side of right. But what if I am not? What if the protests are unwarranted? What if the protesters are the bad guys?

Sunday 20 February 2022

2522 positive test results today.

David Seymour is trying to wriggle himself around to say that mandates must end now, but he is right before, when he says mandates are great. He says that of the new ‘cases’ there are twenty times more vaxxed cases than unvaxxed cases, but mRNA technology is ‘an amazing human achievement’ (even though it clearly doesn’t work and do what it is supposed to do).

Reading a magazine today I see a long list of wonderful summer festivals and events all over NZ. I check online. They are all cancelled. Ardern says ‘two jabs for the summer’ and when the population believes her and takes the jab, some more reluctantly than others, the rules change. Now it’s ‘the whole country is in traffic light red’. At red, the events can’t really take place, so they are cancelled.

Camp Freedom is going from strength to strength, it is growing all the time. Being more organised all the time. There are now laundry facilities, hot showers and veggie gardens. It has become a ‘destination’. In fact, it’s the only event not cancelled. And you don’t need a vax pass or a mask. And it’s free. Trouble is – it isn’t a super-spreader event either (so far). Which makes Ardern look a bit silly, or possibly a big liar. But she is nowhere to be seen.

Meanwhile, around the world, there are at least seventeen countries and the world, and several states in USA that are scrapping mandates and masks. Norway, Uk, Ireland, Spain, Mexico, Czech, Slovakia, Germany, Japan, Denmark, Turkey, Brazil, Singapore, El Salvador, France, Portugal, Greece.

Monday 21 February 2022

At 3.30 am this morning people at Camp Freedom are woken up by the noise of police moving into the nearby streets and putting concrete blocks around the camp to prevent vehicles entering. Things are tense, people get worried, some people get pushed about by police.

As day dawns the leadership teams reassure people that everything is okay, the portaloos will be serviced and changed, food will still be allowed in, but if a vehicle leaves it will not be allowed back in. The police hope that this action will contain the camp, stop the daily expansion of the camp, and even reduce its size, as vehicles leave and are unable to return.

People at Camp Freedom are unsettled, but still determined.

Jacinda Ardern goes on breakfast television and says that the protesters must stop camping illegally on the front lawn and it’s time for them to go home. She speaks as if some bully boys have camped out on her personal front lawn and she is the teacher who has come to the end of her patience and she is sending them home. She refuses to talk to any protesters. It is noted that she has met with gang leaders on several occasions in the past.

She announces that she wants to be as transparent as possible. She gives some statistics which completely contradict what the Ministry of Health web page shows. She says that the Omicron peak will happen in three to six weeks and then will drop off after that. So she will keep the country at Traffic Light Red until then. After that she will drop the country down through the traffic light levels and reduce restrictions gradually. But she won’t give a date for removing mandates or vax passes. She is digging in and pushing back. Refusing to budge with the protesters.

David Seymour sends out an email telling us that the vaccines don’t protect people from the Omicron variant of Covid and so it is time to remove the vax mandates because they are starting to cause trouble. It sounds so sneaky – first he opposes those not wanting a vax, and he says vaxxes should be forced on people. Now he can see the immense opposition to mandates so he says the mandates should end. Opportunism over freedom.

Christopher Luxon talks about reducing restrictions and ending mandates.

In Canada, some of the organisers of the Ottawa convoy protest are arrested, another organiser makes an announcement that they are retreating. They will leave Ottawa if the police will move their blockades and allow them out. He talks of having his bank account frozen. People who have donated to the Ottawa convoy cause are followed up and some have their accounts frozen too. He is horrified at how they have been treated and at the powers that the Government has used to control them and prevent them from protesting. A member of the security force in Ottawa is seen carrying an LRAD (Long Range Acoustic Device). Things look pretty worrisome with what looks like UN troops attacking the protesters, and bank accounts are now controlled by the Government in Canada.

Tuesday 22 February 2022

A mainstream media headline screams: Top cop says protesters’ behaviour ‘absolutely disgraceful’ as three officers hospitalised, reports of sexual assault at camp.

I phone people who are there at the camp today. I have a video call with them. I see peaceful people, smiling and waving. It’s a sunny day and I get a ‘walk through’ the camp live on the phone. It’s totally quietly peaceful. There is no music or speeches. I see food being shared and people relaxing. So what about this headline? Here’s the story:

Early this morning about 200 police came in force before dawn. They put out more concrete blocks and they moved yesterday’s concrete blocks further in, reducing the size of the Camp. There is push and shove. Some police carry riot shields. The police back off. Everything is peaceful again.

The protest organisers put out a press release this evening. The comments from Newshub and the full statement are all important and significant.

Protest organisers ‘shocked’ at antisocial behaviour towards police during Parliament occupation

Police Assistant Commissioner Richard Chambers called anti-mandate protesters’ behaviour “disgraceful and unacceptable”. Tensions kicked off this morning at Parliament with three police officers requiring medical care after being after sprayed by an unknown, stinging substance

Earlier officers in riot gear moved concrete blockades forward to shrink the size of the protest area.

A large number of protesters attempted to obstruct police from moving the concrete barriers. This three people were arrested for spraying the officers and one person was arrested after attempting to drive a car into a group of police officers.

It turns out that the three police who were sprayed were sprayed with pepper spray by another policeman. Nothing to do with the protesters.

The leaders and organisers of the Parliament protest address the claims of antisocial behaviour from people who they say are not associated with the protest. They say,

The Wellington protest group is shocked by the alleged violent and antisocial behaviour exhibited during the past 48 hours by a number of individuals who do not appear to be associated with the protest.

Throughout, we have continually sought to work with Police to identify individuals involved in any criminal acts and maintain a safe and peaceful environment. We are ever-mindful that approximately 15 percent of protestors present are either children or aged over 60, and 55 percent are women.

However, significant concern has arisen during the past 48 hours over a notable lack of action by Police against identified individuals committing offences outside the protest area. Emerging evidence of potential external involvement in placing these agitators among the protest is even more worrying.

The individual who sprayed faecal matter at Police on Monday morning was unknown to protestors. He intentionally hid behind a protestor as he sprayed the police, wore a ski mask and fled immediately. Protest organisers have asked Police for pictures from surveillance footage to help us ascertain if the person is still amongst the protest. Police denied the request.

We are now worried he may have returned to the site to perpetrate further violent acts.

Video and photographic evidence has emerged that agitators use earpieces identical to that used by Police. An individual letting off loud fireworks to the rear of the protest on Tuesday morning, making a sound similar to gunshots that naturally increased tension, was immediately stopped by other protestors, and he was handed over to Police. Footage of this person is widely available on social media. It is not surprising that many of those at the protest site are now suspicious that a deliberate and coordinated action by external parties is being waged to escalate tensions and smear the protestors.

Given the enormous numbers of Police and blanket surveillance of the area, we’ve been advised they are tracking specific trouble-makers but not acting. We can only perceive their protracted inaction is at the bidding of the Government’s PR machine. Meanwhile, anywhere up to 10,000 people per day peacefully visit Parliament grounds to protest these mandates.

The person who allegedly sprayed a mystery substance into the eyes of three Police officers today was also a person unknown to any of the protestors present. He was wearing a face-covering similar to a ski mask.

The vehicle rolled into the back of officers was outside of the protest site (as were the other events) and in an area in which Police have jurisdiction. No one was hurt.

The leaders of the combined groups that comprise the majority of the protestors condemn any acts of violence and request that Police do more to work with them in removing known perpetrators. We also believe that subversive actions of people posing as protestors is an underhand and dishonest tactic that doesn’t fit with New Zealand values.

It has not been helpful today that Police raised with media the possibility for sexual assaults before communicating that to us and before anything of the nature had occurred at the site. This is despite a legal representative having daily and sometimes hourly contact with Police on our behalf for this express purpose.

We are increasingly of the view that Police are playing PR games – taking a leaf out of the Prime Minister’s book. It’s not drawing too long a bow to observe that it would suit the interests of both Police and Government for the trouble-makers to cause problems for media to report widely upon.

We urge politicians to reflect on a professional survey that revealed the majority of protestors are the exact opposite of “ferals”, far-right extremists and “a river of filth”. Of the 312 people researchers spoke to on-site over the weekend, 27 percent are Maori, and 45 percent voted Labour or Greens at the last election.

Speaking on behalf of the majority of the groups represented on-site, we are unanimous in our commitment to maintaining a peaceful protest that does not support any violence. Today, we have passed on our sympathies via official Police channels to the officers injured during the past few days.

The statement, sent to all media outlets, does not make it to any mainstream media publication.

Friday 25 February 2022

The High Court rules that job mandates for Police and NZDF are illegal. Ardern must now roll back those mandates.

The Government and Media Are Lying

Saturday 26 February 2022

The media are lying big time.

The media are saying that people at the Freedom Village are being violent and abusive, that Wellingtonians and Wellington are suffering and being bullied.  Michael Wood MP, says that it is a river of filth.  Debbie Packer MP says that they are all white supremacists. Jacinda Ardern says that they are a tiny minority of extremists, not representing New Zealand. The police say it is an unsafe, unsanitary place for children.

Others are telling a different story. One of peaceful togetherness and kindness. So we go to see for ourselves. It is glorious! It is peaceful, happy, safe, clean. People are kind, smiling, joining in with helping where needed.

Everything is clean and tidy. It’s like a village.  There are security people at all the gates, so that all who go in feel safe and know that there is no violence or roughness. There are Portaloos. There are even some showers and places for people to wash dishes etc.  There is a garden planted. The children have a playground.

There are coffee carts with delicious coffee – all free.  There are big kitchen tents like cafes or canteens where you can queue with your plate for the smorgasbord – all free.  There is a first aid tent, a mums and tots tent, a children’s arts and crafts tent, an admin tent, a clothing ‘shop’ tent, a concert tent, a main stage with an adjoining ‘sound’ tent.  There is a superannuitants lounge tent. Everything is free.

We have lunch there. We ae offered toasties, sausages, pork steaks, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, bread and fresh fruit at the tent we go to. All the supplies are donated from people across the country.

We see people coming up pulling trolleys or pushing wheelbarrows full of donations of food or supplies. We see people walking round with large trays and bags full of sandwiches or lollies or fruit.

There is a Christian group with prayer meetings twice a day and a place to come and be refreshed and have someone pray with you.

The people there are all colours, all shapes, all ages. There are over 25% of Maori people there. There are also Islanders, Asians and Caucasians.  The children are all happy and playing peacefully.  I haven’t seen happy children like this in a public place for a long time. They have a kiddie movie night on Fridays. There are concerts every day.

What about how they are taking over Wellington? There are really only three streets around Parliament affected by the protest. That’s half of Molesworth Street, part of Lambton Quay, and half of Hill Street, and the side streets from these three.  Walk down the road and the whole rest of Wellington is normal.  There is only a handful of businesses affected by the protest.

There is a group of people at the concrete bollards at the end of Molesworth Street, standing with flags and signs.  Every time a car toots when passing they erupt into cheers and whoops of delight. No one is threatened or shouted at.

People have chalked messages all over the wall in front of Parliament. Some of it is actually beautiful, but at first glance it looks like graffiti which is a bit off putting.

I speak to people, strangers, and ask them where they are from and why they are there.  They are from all over New Zealand. There are professional or trained tradespeople who have lost their jobs because of the mandates. There are those who are vaxxed but are seriously concerned about the forced vaxxes and what the future might look like.  Many of them voted for Jacinda Ardern and now they are feeling totally cheated and lied to  by her.  She has lost the good will and trust of the people

Finally, it is very busy.  Really busy.  This is not a group of 200 unwashed, white supremacist thugs, threatening passers-by and fighting police.  This is a huge group representing all sorts of New Zealanders wanting to be heard and being ignored. There are thousands of visitors a day. The authorities are lying to the public. The protest movement is peaceful, clean, safe and happy.  I have never seen people so happy since I don’t know when.

I see the protesters as working for New Zealand, to end mandates and vax passes and other restrictions which are expensive and ineffective.  Jacinda Ardern is facing opposition everywhere she goes now. And when people in all the little towns around NZ stand with protest signs and shout as she passes, that they want an end to the mandates the media reports it ‘verbal abuse’.

Monday 28 February 2022

The lawyers who won the mandates case against the Government in the High Court for the Police and NZDF write a letter to Ardern telling her she has until Friday to roll back the mandates. The Government says nothing.

Tuesday 1 March 2022

We hear that hundreds of police are being moved to Wellington, the hotels are filling with police, and the streets are full of police cars.

The grapevine is hot with rumours that there will be a raid early tomorrow morning. People are feeling nervous and worried. It’s a tense time.

I hear that Andrew Coster is told that if he doesn’t move in and get rid of the protesters he will lose his job. So he is planning to move. This might be gossip, or it might be true.

A Dark Day in History

Wednesday 2 March 2022

The rumours are right. The police move in, starting with the places where the Christians gather to pray each day – the grounds of the cathedral and the steps of the library. They all have their badges covered up with red tape so they can’t be identified. They are wearing riot gear including masks, helmets and visors.

Some people want to leave. The police say they will help people get their cars out. Then the police bring in a forklift and a tow truck to remove the cars. Some cars get damaged. The police take the Portaloos away.

There is a video taken later in the day from the library side of Parliament grounds. It’s disturbing. Chantelle Baker who has been there filming and interviewing every day from the beginning, films from the wall near the library, looking down into Parliament Gardens. The police are storming through, pushing hard and spraying what looks like tear gas and pepper spray.

Chantelle describes what is happening, then she sees the police rush the protesters and start knocking them over. Chantelle can see her dad, Leighton Baker, getting pushed, possibly trampled. She starts calling out for her dad, worried that he is injured.

The police are violent and thuggish. They start spraying. Then one cop looks up at Chantelle and starts spraying her like she is a fly or a cockroach. She is crying now. She is frightened for her dad, and she has been sprayed in the face with pepper spray. The video gets wobbly, then we see clouds of ‘smoke’ – tear gas?

Chantelle moves through the camp, filming. Her face is covered in the spray. Protesters are getting treatment with milk to wash their eyes, and being given masks and goggles. The police keep broadcasting a message over a loudspeaker telling people that they have to leave the grounds immediately, they are trespassing. The people are frightened but they stay and stand firm. Things are still calm but there is more push and shove from the police. When the police stop pushing, the crowd never surges against the police. The crowd gets sprayed as though they are vermin. Chantelle shouts to the police ‘We will never forget your faces; we will never forget what you have done today.’

The police continue to storm through the camp aggressively, pulling down and trampling the tents and throwing people’s belongings about, spraying the people, pushing them and injuring some.

Two guys wearing masks covering their faces enter a tent in front of the protesters, they come out and a minute later the tent bursts into flame. The fire billows thick clouds of black smoke. One of the masked guys grabs another tent and throws it onto the fire. This is the start of chaos.

The police chase the protesters. People are looking for their family and friends. Many protesters have already left, but other people are arriving. The newcomers are wearing masks, that makes them stand out from the protesters; these newcomers are not peaceful protesters and they appear to be encouraging and inciting violence. So now we have a core of remaining protesters who are frightened, a section of newcomers who are encouraging violence, and violent police. The police are throwing stuff, breaking stuff. There is a lot of shouting and swearing.

The mood of the protest changes. Some newcomers, wearing masks are seen throwing stuff onto the fires. But why would the protesters set fire to their own tents? Why would they try to burn what they have built up? The fire spreads to the children’s playground and the controversial children’s slide and a beautiful Pohutukawa tree catch on fire. The infiltrators are doing a lot of damage and are violent. They are out to discredit the protesters. One or two of them are confronted by protesters. The fire service arrives and the police appear to take control of a water hose and direct it at the people.

After the village is cleared of people the police are seen trashing the belongings and equipment left behind. Photos showing the devastation are broadcast on MSM with captions indicating that the devastation is how the protesters were living.

How can this be happening in our beloved country? What has Jacinda Ardern done to our country? Ardern is willing to meet with gangs, with the Taliban, with protesters taking over private land. But she won’t meet with peaceful protesters outside Parliament. More than that, she won’t have any truck with them at all. In fact, she holds a press conference at 5 pm to say how proud she is of the ‘brave’ police for clearing the ‘illegal’ occupation of Parliament grounds. She describes this beautiful village of peace as ‘desecrating’ parliament lawns.

This is a sad day for New Zealand.
