2021 – The Year of Vaccine

Review of the Year

What Have I Learned in 2021?

I learn that Covid fear can be dragged out for much longer than any normal pandemic; a year ago I think that 2021 will be hard and that we will see the pandemic peak in NZ and then we will start recovery. I expect that this Christmas we will be on the other side of Covid, that people will be finished with masks, lockdowns and Covid rules. The only part of that which turns out to be true is that 2021 is hard for too many people.  In the main part, I seriously underestimate things – we haven’t seen the end of Covid or the cruel restrictions.

I learn that conspiracy theories can become fact and the Podium of Truth can become the Lectern of Lies; three ministers, Jacinda Ardern, Peeni Henare and Chris Hipkins, along with Ashley Bloomfield are all on record as saying they won’t mandate vaccines. Ardern says that not only will there be no forced vaccinations, but those who choose to opt-out won’t face any penalties at all. They call people who say there will be mandatory vaccines ‘conspiracy theorists’. As late as September the PM says there will be no mandates, that we should ignore the conspiracy theorists. It takes only three weeks after that pronouncement for the mandates begin. They lie – all of them.

I learn that ‘conspiracy theorists’ are now saying that the vax pass is crucial to the big plan to give digital ID to the population of the planet and thereby control all aspects of people’s lives, but this is ignored and denied. However, we do know that the Reserve Bank of New Zealand is talking about digital currency.

I learn about how people can be hypnotised, and I see it all around me. I hear people talk in riddles about how the vaccine protects them from the Covid, but others need to get vaxxed in order to ‘keep everyone safe’. So the vax protects them from Covid but it doesn’t protect them from the unvaccinated?

I learn that people can believe nonsense, like the fact that when a vaxxed person has Covid they believe that it’s not too bad because they took the vaccine. I hear people talking about how they are hopeful that Covid won’t kill them because they have the vax. They are taking a vaccination for a disease with a recovery rate of 99% and still crossing their fingers and hoping that the disease won’t kill them. They are very afraid.

I learn that there are more of us resisting than the MSM or governments will admit. We, the resisters, the freedom fighters, the pro-choice people (not anti-vax, but pro-choice) are in every country. There are weekly protests in countries around the world, continuing for months. They are not reported in MSM. But we learn about each other and we are encouraged.

I learn that the official vax figures are probably overstated and inflated. E.g. in NZ we are told that the number of vaxxed is close to 90% but other things suggest it’s closer to under 60%. Things suggesting that the vax rate is lower are restaurants and cafes and places requiring vax passes are not as busy as they should be, sometimes running at about one third of normal capacity. Or like a gym that gets fined $12,000 per day for opening without insisting on staff being vaxxed or customers showing a vax pass gets a crowd funding figure of over $40,000 in 13 hours. These are clear indications to me that official figures might be false.

I learn about the absolute intolerance of those who choose not to accept the vaccine by those who accept it. A highly praised restaurant in the South Island closes because the owner says that half the staff refuse the vax and she is mad and tells them to ‘just get the vaccination’ so that they can open. No-one notices that it’s half the staff, not 10% of the staff. And there is no-one else to take the place of the unvaxxed staff. Why not? Another clue that the vax rate isn’t as high as claimed.

Looking Ahead to 2022

The PM says firmly that there will be no forced jabs to access benefits, and no forced jabs for children (although children 5 – 12 years will start being jabbed with parental consent from 17 January 2022). I don’t really believe her when she says no forced jabs. And that is a concern.

Looking ahead, there are rumours of what will happen in 2022. I desperately hope that they are conspiracies. Here are the rumours:

  • There will be lockdowns again.
  • The jabs will be more frequent and the passports will expire if a new jab isn’t taken.
  • Children will be forced to have the vax to go to school.
  • Beneficiaries and superannuitants will be forced to have the vax to keep receiving their benefits and superannuation.
  • There will be extreme inflation.
  • The Reserve Bank of New Zealand will move to digital money, and mortgages will no longer be able to be paid so the Government will take over mortgaged properties and rent the properties back to the owners of the properties who have mortgages.
  • There will be food shortages.

I remind myself that these are only rumours. But I am afraid we will never go back to normal.

I am hopeful:

  • I hope the pretend pandemic is finally declared over and we can get on with life.
  • I hope people will wake up and realise the silliness of the rules and what we are being asked to abide by.
  • I hope people will resist getting their children jabbed and resist getting third and fourth jabs.
  • I hope people will realise that there are many injuries and deaths from the jab.
  • I hope that the jab injuries will be acknowledged and the injured taken care of appropriately, and that the jab deaths are mourned properly and apologies and recompense paid.
  • I hope MSM journalists will step out, speak up, be brave.
  • I hope more doctors and nurses will resist and whistle-blow on what is happening.
  • I hope we see a spiritual revival and an outpouring of grace on the nations.
  • I hope we never see the microchip in the hand with the vax pass in it.

Altogether, compared to the beginning of 2021, I am not seeing around me the relief that the old year is finished like we saw a year ago. Today people are pessimistic, worried, tired and heading towards hopelessness. People take the vax in order to regain their freedom and they don’t get their freedom. Do they notice that? Probably not, because they blame the unvaxxed for all that is wrong, when they should be blaming the Government for taking their freedoms, or blaming themselves for accepting the restrictions and rules. Very few people take the vax to protect themselves from the virus – they take it for travel (they still can’t travel), to keep their job, to be able to go to restaurants, cafes, shows, concerts, festivals, etc. (festivals are being cancelled).

Earlier this year I hear Bill Gates say that he thinks the pandemic will be over by 2023. Let’s see if he is right. And if he is, we will wonder if he made a good guess or if he knows something we don’t know.
